Dulce - Honduras
$17.00
This Dulce hits different. Red Jolly Ranchers different.
We are really excited about this new relationship with Jorge Adalid Nicolás Morales through the Honduran Coffee Alliance. This new Catuai honey-processed Dulce is caramel-forward, which we usually look for in Honduran coffees, but it also brings the rest of the sundae to the table.
Red Jolly Rancher, maraschino cherry, orange zest, this coffee is sweet and caramelly with a fruity twist— a perfect fit for your filter, bright espresso, and cortado.

Jorge Nicolas is a fourth-generation coffee farmer. His coffee roost dates back to the 1960s, when his great-grandfather bought part of the land to plant coffee and left an inheritance. In 2014, they began experimenting with growing coffee at high altitudes. This was the beginning of what is now one of the model farms, which IHCAFE (Honduran Coffee Institute) uses to train other coffee growers and show them that good management practices result in coffee farms with excellent production and contribute to combating climate change. Jorge Nicolas is optimistic and believes that the relationships developed with direct buyers give hope for sustainability in Honduran coffee growing.
