We couldn’t help ourselves. We pulled the trigger on this super high-altitude (2185 - 2300m!! Right?! Have you ever been this high?) washed Ethiopian coffee in about 21 seconds top Chrono. The second this coffee hit our palate, we knew we wanted it, hard. We usually buy peachy-washed Ethiopian, but this one is hitting on the melon side. We’ve been melon addicted since.
This coffee is from Ayele Tulu and Buno Zura in the Sidama region. It’s Montreal Melon forward (a deep sugary cantaloup), mango-boosted texture, and an iced tea lingering aftertaste. Damn it is good. Welcome this new Sauce Secrète Lavé onto your counter.
