Sidra

$40.00

High in the mountains of Pitalito, Huila, a remarkable expression of the Sidra variety has emerged. Grown by Wilder Lazo and his family at Finca Bella Alejandria, this coffee reflects generations of dedication, curiosity, and hard work. Surrounded by lush tropical forest, each plant is cultivated with a precise understanding of its genetic traits and growing needs. When this Sidra landed on our cupping table, it immediately earned its place on our Limited Series menu.

The Lazo family continues to distinguish themselves through their deep expertise in varietal genetics and cultivation practices. While many producers focus on complex drying or fermentation methods, Wilder’s approach begins in the soil. His attention to the genetics of each varietal and to the specific conditions that shape its growth allows him to reveal the coffee’s inherent character without relying on heavy processing.

The result is a Sidra that feels both vibrant and refined. In the cup, you’ll find notes of Thai basil, dune pepper, coriander, and tamarind. A delightfully spicy and aromatic profile that pairs beautifully with crisp mornings and rainy afternoons. There’s truly nothing else like it in our lineup, so if this one speaks to you, don’t wait too long – it won’t be around forever.
